Showcase Dance Studio is seeking an enthusiastic Parent & Me Dance Instructor to lead our 4-week mini sessions for children ages 15 months–4 years and their caregivers.

The best part? The curriculum and music are already created and ready for you. We’re looking for the right instructor to bring it all to life!

At Showcase Dance Studio, dance lessons teach life lessons. Our youngest dancers are beginning much more than their dance journey—they’re learning how to participate in a classroom, follow directions, interact with others, build confidence, and experience the joy of movement.

At Showcase Dance Studio, we offer a clear Instructor Career & Growth Path designed to support dedicated educators with transparency, structure, and long-term opportunity.

Starting pay is determined using our structured framework, which considers verifiable teaching experience, training, and alignment with current studio needs. Instructors who are interested in additional opportunities may have the ability to grow into other teaching, private lesson, choreography, or studio roles as opportunities become available.

Our Parent & Me program is offered in 4-week mini sessions on Saturdays.

This position is ideal for an instructor who enjoys early childhood education and would like a smaller teaching commitment rather than a full traditional dance season.

• Teaching engaging Parent & Me classes using our established curriculum and playlists
• Guiding caregivers in how to participate and assist their child throughout class
• Introducing young dancers to rhythm, counting, creative movement, and basic dance concepts
• Incorporating music, imagination, props, and age-appropriate activities
• Helping children practice classroom skills such as listening, taking turns, sharing, and following directions
• Creating a positive first experience with dance for both the child and caregiver
• Adapting activities as needed based on the energy and needs of each group
• Maintaining a safe, clean, welcoming, and encouraging classroom environment
• Communicating professionally with families and the Showcase Dance Studio team

Dance teaching experience is valuable, but early childhood experience, personality, patience, and the ability to connect with little ones and their caregivers are especially important for this role.
