We are looking for a talented On‑Site Diesel Engine Technician / Mechanic to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business out of Manassas, VA.

This is a resident tech position. Includes company vehicle and will report daily to our customers location.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus, Annual Tool & PPE Allowance, Pension & 401K and Stock Purchase Plan.

• Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field.
• Develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
• Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
• Assist with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Level II Technician:
  Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in‑scope for a diesel technician at this location; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians. Cummins engine diagnostic experience preferred on Transit buses.

• Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
• Current relevant electrical certification (optional)
• Locally valid driving permit
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Cummins engine diagnostic experience preferably on Transit buses.
• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products.
• High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional).
• Customer service experience.

• A current valid license is required for this role.
• This role requires a 5‑year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
• Applicant must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). years driving experience.
• Subject to DOT driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older.
• Subject to random and pre‑employment drug testing requirements; ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire.
