Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Kubernetes Microservices Developer/Architect. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years or more of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes cluster

• Demonstrated proficiency with Containerization

• Experience with Helm

• Experience with container technologies such as Podman, K3s
Desired

Skills:

• Experience with C++ and Java software development
• Experience developing deployment architectures for microservices

• Experience deploying Dev Sec Ops  pipelines
• Experience tuning a Kubernetes network

• Experience in rearchitecting existing monolithic applications into microservices

• Experience with developing a data architecture for microservices

• Experience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, Kube-Vip
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
