Solutions Architect - Media/Broadcast Enterprise Systems

Reporting to the Director of File Based Solutions, the Solutions Architect works with Evertz clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management to design, document, and implement end‑to‑end enterprise solutions for broadcast and media facilities. The architect captures the client vision, business and technical requirements, and maps them into Evertz hardware, software, and professional services. The role requires both client‑facing and internal‑facing responsibilities.

• Collaborate with the account manager to define and document the scope.
• Provide initial solutions with Evertz equipment selection and systems design; refine the design process to deliver final quotations and supporting documentation.
• Work with internal resources and the client to deliver demonstrations and documentation as proof of concept.
• Collaborate with internal, client, and third‑party teams to understand current and future business and technical requirements.
• Lead proposal creation and refinement; produce accurate documentation for bid sets.
• Identify and manage project risks; state assumptions; mitigate risks with client and internal resources before deployment.
• Create clear design packages, gap analysis, functional specifications, and budgets.
• Identify new customers and build relationships while maintaining the existing customer base.
• Act as the technical authority throughout design, pre‑commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering phases.
• Travel as required to client sites.

• Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full life cycle, end‑to‑end enterprise‑wide projects.
• Experience with file‑based broadcast, production, post‑production, non‑linear distribution, automated transcoding, quality control, and business/traffic system deployments.
• Electronics engineering (or similar) education.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Results oriented, self‑motivated, and team player.
• Familiar with BXF and industry‑standard traffic solutions.
• Three or more years deploying file‑based workflow solutions.
• Experience with broadcast IT network infrastructure.
• Understanding of application integration with business systems via XML interchange.
• Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
