Compensation: $38.46 - $50.96 / hr depending on qualifications
Background and Drug Screenings Required.
Qualifications- Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in industrial drafting and design
- Basic experience or familiarity with preparing design drawings across all project phases, from schematic design through construction documentation, including associated project deliverables
- Experience with semiconductor tool installation
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills for client meetings and team collaboration
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree in CADD or related field
- Revit experience
- Experience with innovative or complex design projects
- Prior experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong presentation and graphic skills
- Experience on small and large teams
- Experience with project scoping and development
- Experience with Navis Works and/or Revit BIM software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability for forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and to contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base
- Passion for buildings and construction
Location: This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Manassas, VA. Candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours – nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility based on ability of site to support and employee preference.
Responsibilities- Create layout designs in AutoCAD for tool installation projects
- Work directly with client to ensure machine layouts follow code, building standards and client standards
- Field verify layouts to ensure accuracy of designs
- Measure and record factory areas for as-built purposes
- Present designs during review meetings and explain decisions made during design process
