Electra is seeking a Staff or Senior Systems Safety Engineer in Manassas, VA to lead system safety, RAM, and certification work for the EL9 eSTOL aircraft. You will drive hazard analyses, allocate safety requirements, and ensure FAA Part 23 compliance across electrical, mechanical, propulsion, and avionics subsystems.
You will collaborate with systems engineering, avionics, propulsion, and software teams, prepare substantiation reports, and present findings at SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews.
