The Work Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Opportunity for candidates experienced in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines interested in putting their skills to work as an Electrical Engineer.

Position spans the technology development life-cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, hardware procurement, integration, test, and installation across lab facilities and at-sea platforms.

Responsibilities include research, selection, test, and integration of electronic components and equipment in a military environment. Candidate will analyze, define and design mainly COTS equipment for new or existing systems or subsystems. Additional responsibilities include drawing creation, troubleshooting issues, test planning; test development; and test execution.

Specific responsibilities may include:
1. Specification, analysis, and selection of COTS, ROTS, NDI and / or custom components
2. Requirements review
3. Cable Design for rack/stack system
4. Interconnect Diagrams and Cable Run Sheets
5. Test Procedure Development and Execution
6. System Verification and Validation
7. Support of limited Environmental Test and Analysis
8. End-of-Life assessment and evaluation

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering from an accredited college, related discipline and/or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience

Knowledge of computer system design (servers, switches, power, packaging)
Effectively communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks

Must have interim secret clearance to start
