Phlebotomist III Float – Manassas, VA (Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, rotational weekends)

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III Float to provide high‑quality phlebotomy services across our patient service centers. This role offers a dynamic, rotating schedule and the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations.

Pay range: $19.73+ per hour

• Cover a territory to provide phlebotomy duties within patient service centers, doctors’ offices, or as business needs dictate
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required
• Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as the point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor
• Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboard/data entry experience
