We are seeking a results‑oriented Specialty Representative in Dermatology for Abb Vie located in Manassas, VA. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from Leesburg and surrounding areas.

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in field, effectively manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize short‑ and long‑term sales performance.
• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives, exceeding those objectives.
• Create pre‑call plans using SMART objectives and execute post‑call evaluations to continually improve sales performance.
• Handle objections and concerns, consistently gaining logical and reasonable calls to action to close every sales call.
• Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements.
• Develop and execute a call plan that meets call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers.
• Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, product and clinical and sales expertise; share this market intelligence with the in‑field team, brand team, and sales manager for alignment.
• Differentiate Abb Vie’s value proposition with providers; identify, develop and maintain disease‑state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business‑related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, with at least three (3) years in a sales role; a high school diploma or GED is required.
• In‑depth scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge and recognition as an expert resource by stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, strategic and critical thinking, proficiency with business tools.
• Proven track record of selling success, solid presentation skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to customer style and behavior.
• Leadership experience and experience supporting increased responsibility at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• English language proficiency, both verbal and written.
• Ability to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain them.

• External:
  Specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other brand plan stakeholders.
• Internal:
  In‑field team members, sales management (DSM), marketing management, training, customer excellence and brand plan stakeholders.

• Compensation includes base salary, short‑term incentive programs and long‑term incentive programs.
