Youth Independent Living Evening Support Specialist, PT

Join Intercept Health as a Youth Independent Living Evening Support Specialist (part‑time), based primarily during late evenings and weekends. The position offers a $1000 sign‑on bonus and is part of Intercept Health’s Youth Quest program, a family‑owned agency serving mental and behavioral health needs across Virginia.

As an Evening Support Specialist, you will:

  • Use excellent interpersonal communication skills to gain resident cooperation and resolve conflicts, while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Provide transportation, accompany, and directly supervise residents on outings, activities, and appointments.
  • Guide residents in personal hygiene, condominium care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry procedures.
  • Exercise fair, firm, and consistent behavioral management.
  • Supervise medication administration as appropriate.
  • Check that residents are in their condos by curfew, working, or on an approved pass; document incidences and communicate with the Life Skills Coach or Program Supervisor; record accurate chart information on behavior, incidents, AWOLs, restrictions, and sleep patterns.
Education And Experience
  • Human services bachelor's degree (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, etc.) or a high school diploma with at least one year of experience working with children and/or families.

Prince William County, VA.

Hours:

primarily late evenings and weekends. Salary: $70,921.50–$97,968.00 per annum.
