Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support people operations and foster a positive, compliant workplace environment in Manassas, Virginia. This role will oversee core HR activities, including employee support, benefits coordination, onboarding, and HR systems administration. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of HR processes, strong interpersonal judgment, and the ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

- Guide daily human resources operations across employee relations, policy administration, and staff support activities.

- Manage onboarding processes to create a smooth and organized experience for new hires from offer acceptance through orientation.

- Administer employee benefits programs, respond to questions, and coordinate enrollment and related updates accurately.

- Maintain and update HRIS records to ensure personnel data is complete, current, and properly documented.

- Address workplace concerns with discretion, provide guidance to employees and managers, and help resolve issues in alignment with company policies.

- Support compliance efforts by maintaining required records, monitoring HR documentation, and helping ensure adherence to employment regulations.

- Partner with leadership on HR administration needs, reporting, and process improvements that strengthen team operations.

- Assist with departmental projects and operational changes, including updates to internal HR processes or systems when needed.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience in human resources, including responsibility for employee support and HR administration.

- Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.

- Experience coordinating benefits-related activities and answering employee questions regarding available programs.

- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee information within digital systems.

- Hands-on experience managing onboarding tasks and ensuring timely completion of hiring documentation.

- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with employees across different levels of the organization.
