Customer Support Engineer

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that includes Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. Our services portfolio aims to maintain high performance and productivity of our products through proactive management of tools, expertise in optics, image processing and motion control, 24/7 technical support, and a worldwide parts network.

• Primary role is to support customer install base for service repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Engineer will be responsible for supporting tools at customer site and working with customer, local and remote teams in support of customer needs.
• Experience with KLA inspection and metrology tool support/repairs is preferred.
• Previous customer support experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair complicated electronics and electro-optical systems using standard methods.
• Must be proficient in use of DVMs, oscilloscopes and advanced electronic test equipment.
• Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
• Be the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.
• Provide proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and addresses customer requirements effectively.
• Provide assistance to Technical Support Engineers in resolving problems.
• Domestic and international travel is required on a regular basis.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent experience in the position offered or in a technical-related occupation. Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered.

Base Pay Range: $33.75 - $57.36 per hour.
