Interim Accepted (Active Secret Preferred) About the Role We are seeking a highly capable Software Engineer / Cloud Architect to support newly awarded programs focused on secure, private cloud environments. This role centers on software integration, container orchestration, and cloud deployment within Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Kubernetes, container design, and cloud performance optimization, contributing to mission-critical infrastructure supporting national security programs.

Key Responsibilities Perform software integration to ensure seamless operation of Linux-based private clouds. Test, debug, and troubleshoot software across containerized environments. Design, develop, and deploy containers using Kubernetes in a Linux OS environment. Implement Kubernetes rulesets for scheduling and interprocess communication. Develop pod networking strategies and container communication models. Optimize GPU performance within containerized workloads.

Required Qualifications Proficiency in C++ or Java. 3+ years of development, integration, or troubleshooting experience with Linux/Unix systems. Hands-on experience building and deploying containers with Kubernetes. Strong understanding of container orchestration, scalability, and performance optimization. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field. Desired Skills

Experience with software-defined storage. GPU optimization within containers. Familiarity with RKE2 and KubeVIP.

Experience with Agile development environments. Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or SVN. Ability to design container environments for high availability.
