Network Deploy Technician – Amazon Web Services

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role works with a diverse team to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing unlimited capacity at the lowest possible cost.

• Scale support of several data center locations and day‑to‑day capacity management.
• Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Leverage experience supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks and troubleshoot implementation issues.
• Establish and follow best practices and refine operational procedures for AWS’ vast network infrastructure.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Work in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments.
• Stand, walk, bend, stretch, reach, and lift for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
