Platform Services Operations is looking for a motivated and solution focused, hand‑on Senior Database Administrator to join us to boost effectiveness and accelerate delivery flow. Based in Manassas, VA, you will be working alongside a dynamic team of Oracle DBA experts. Your team is fully responsible for the design, optimization and operations of the database environment. This Dev Ops team engages in the product evolution;
covering software architecture, development, quality assurance, security, operations and IT infrastructure aspects.
You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across three continents. We have global reach and impact but operate fast as we are a relatively small company.

What to expect in this role:- Organize and control day‑to‑day database administration/ management activities to include:
Database health data collection and analysis, database access and performance analysis. - Resolve complex problems by investigating and devising solutions for database operations. May include installations, configuration, tuning and maintenance of database management.
- Interact with network services, database/software systems engineering and /or applications development in order to restore availability of services and/or identify root cause of complex problems.
- Define and implement recommendations for complex issues in the area of database management systems.

- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Requires 5-7 years of experience in a technical operational support area
- Experience working with the following:
- Worked on Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12.1, 12.2 and 19c. Partitioning and multi‑tenancy options
- Exadata engineered systems and DBs hosted on RHEL systems
- Data Guard for Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Golden Gate for data replication
- Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
- Database Vault for stricter access control
- Advanced analytics including Oracle R
- Knowledge of any of these CICD technology:
Jenkins, Ansible, Docker - Good knowledge of IT security, mainly in the DBA area
University degree in computer science or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
