Santcore Technologies is looking for an experienced Application Developer with strong security expertise to support our client in enhancing and adapting existing applications for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). This role requires deep understanding of quantum-safe algorithms, secure software development, and modern application frameworks.

• Hybrid:
  Minimum 2 days/week onsite in Manassas, VA
• Interviews:
  First 30-minute virtual screening
  ;
  Second 1-hour technical virtual interview
• NO layers allowed on any submissions;
  Photo required with submittal.
• 37.5-hour work week (7.5 hours/day—no overtime). If hours exceed 7.5/day, compensatory time off is given within the same week.
• Adapt and evolve current solutions to support Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) requirements.
• Work with engineering teams to develop secure software modules leveraging Post-Quantum Algorithms (PQC).
• Integrate quantum-safe cryptographic controls within J2EE/Java-based systems.
• Develop, test, and optimize secure application features using modern application security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security Architecture, Software Engineering, and Product teams.
• Conduct performance evaluations and risk assessments for quantum-safe solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred certifications:
  Security+, CISSP, CEH, Cryptography/Quantum-security related credentials.
