Responsibilities
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will enable automation across the development stack, optimize systems for availability, latency, performance, and capacity, and partner with Software Development and QA Engineers to transform delivery processes.
- Lead the change in a company‑wide technology modernization initiative.
- Drive continuous delivery to production by capitalizing on project methodologies like single piece flow and accelerating deployment cycles.
- Harness expertise in Dev Ops platform tools to drive automation.
- Engineer the future of our technology ecosystem by advancing containerization and configuration management with tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Ansible and observability platforms.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in Dev Ops, Software Development, Systems Engineering, or related role.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements to design, development, deployment, and support.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Experience building dashboards, setting up alerts and administering observability platforms like Dynatrace, Data Dog, Prometheus.
- Strong conceptual knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and Helm template creation.
- Strong working experience with Jenkins and Git Hub Actions pipeline development.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Git Hub.
- Sonarqube implementation and administration experience is a strong plus.
- Experience building software using Java, NodeJS and JavaScript.
- Working experience with testing tools like Katalon, Selenium.
- Knowledge and working experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, and Microsoft Azure is a strong plus.
- Development experience with Guidewire platform and Gosu programming language is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
