Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Network Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. Your application will be considered for all locations in the United States, including VA (Manassas, Herndon, Chantilly, Auburn), OR (Boardman, Umatilla, Hermiston), OH (Columbus), and CA (Santa Clara), based on availability. The successful candidate will report to a site location.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Work closely with Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and inter‑connectivity issues, including network device configuration and low‑level application interaction.
- Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Travel up to 20% within the geographical work area; some travel outside the traditional work area may be requested.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more.
- Work 24/7 in an environment that operates on a 24/7 schedule, including on‑call rotation and after‑hours support.
- Some regional travel may be required.
- Walk job sites on uneven terrain.
- Work safely at heights and from ladders.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 1+ years of data center experience.
- Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
- Associate's degree in information technology or computer science.
- 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry‑relevant certifications.
- Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR, and power meters.
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF).

Compensation & BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
