Cultivation Technician

This role primarily assists with all Cultivation operations.

• Complete assigned work during scheduled shifts.
• Support management to ensure cultivation duties are completed efficiently and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform essential cultivation operations such as plant work, big leaf and bottom stripping in flower rooms, data input, cleaning, and disposal of used media.
• Engage in weekly tasks like spot cleaning, flipping flower blocks, planting, watering, and light maintenance.
• Participate in monthly activities including harvesting, applying predatory insects, inventory counts, and plant rotation.
• Follow all operational guidelines, safety policies, and GMP/GACP standards.
• Perform additional duties as qualified and assigned.

• Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field, or at least 2 years of cultivation experience, or registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Virginia.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Knowledge of large-scale plant cultivation, including nutrients, media, lighting, temperature, and airflow.
• Experience with compliance systems and advanced cannabis genetics knowledge.
• Accountability, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and basic math skills.
• Understanding of applicable cannabis laws and organizational policies.
• Ability to work independently and with standard office equipment and software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, management, and external regulators.
