AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a NDT Technician you will support projects from conception to completion, working independently and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Your role involves building trust with customers, delivering on key milestones, and stewarding the procurement and upkeep of equipment and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Apply non‑destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data‑center critical systems—including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and related equipment.
- Act as an ambassador for safety and promote safe working practices across the site.
- Maintain compliance with all security protocols.
- Interact daily with engineers, technicians, project managers, and management, developing and maintaining strong working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow‑up.
- Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Document all inspection discrepancies and defects in detailed reports.
- Interpret inspection data to create qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Provide support for planned and unplanned outages.
- Provide cross‑functional support for ATS and Battery teams.
- Wear all required and provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in a data‑center environment.
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
- Work at heights and from ladders.

Basic Qualifications- Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
- 1+ year of experience in data‑center or mission‑critical facility operations (e.g., hospitals, military installations, public safety facilities, manufacturing); or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field; or trade‑school training/certification.
- Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines.
- Basic scripting experience (Python).

Compensation for this position ranges from $59,600 per year in our lowest geographic market to $133,200 per year in our highest geographic market, with equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits as part of a total compensation package. For more information, please visit
