Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Floater

Job Code: LP1280

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

Type: Nonexempt, Full-time

Summary: As a member of the healthcare team, the LPN establishes personalized relationships with patients, collaborates with team members, and provides compassionate, evidence-based care to promote health and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, evaluating, and managing patient care
• Participating in data collection and recognizing relationships between data and health status
• Communicating effectively with patients and team members using tools like SBARQ
• Collaborating on care planning and implementing nursing interventions
• Demonstrating biomedical knowledge and engaging in continuous professional development

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN licensure in applicable state
• BLS certification
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Computer skills, organizational skills, and professional communication skills

Physical Demands: Medium to heavy physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs with proper equipment.

Additional Details: May require infection control PPE use; no on-call or travel required.
