$15,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead patient care by establishing personalized relationships, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and implementing evidence‑based care plans. You will manage and provide care per policies, document thoroughly, and function under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to educate patients and their support systems.
  • Analyze, modify, and implement strategies to advance patients through their care plans.
  • Ensure completion of nursing interventions, medical orders, and related therapies.
  • Prioritize duties according to patient needs and acuity changes.
  • Advocate for patients while implementing interdisciplinary care plans.
  • Use SBARQ and other communication tools to convey care plans and handoffs.
  • Document patient information timely and accurately.
  • Mentor, precept, orient, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Resolve conflicts independently and maintain positive relationships.
  • Operate medical equipment such as portable cardiac monitors and bedside commodes.
  • Provide routine nursing care: IV initiation, dressing changes, transfers.
  • Assist in critical care situations, including CPR and medication management.
  • Transport patients via wheelchair, bed, or stretcher to other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education
:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience
: 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Licensure
:
Current RN license in the applicable state required. CPI certification within three months of hire required for Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and CSSO. Additional licensing conditions outlined.

  • Verbal and written communication.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Safe and effective care for all patient populations.
Physical Demands

Medium to heavy physical demand: constant standing, walking, bending/stooping. Able to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. Use safe handling equipment for weights over 35 lbs. Requires proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.

Other Requirements
  • HEPA mask and infection‑prevention equipment usage.
  • On‑call responsibilities as directed.
  • Travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and occasionally out of town.
