Emergency/Nursing Licensed Veterinary Technician - Third Shift

Med Vet is a fast‑growing emergency and specialty veterinary provider nationwide, offering advanced medical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more.

We are seeking a collaborative & driven Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team on the third shift.

$7,000 Sign on Bonus Offered for LVTs!

Schedule
  • 3–12s
  • Shift differentials:
    Mon‑Fri 8 p‑12 a +$2.00/hr;
    Mon‑Fri 12 a‑8 a +$3.00/hr;
    Sat & Sun 8 a‑8 p +$1.00/hr;
    Sat & Sun 8 p‑12 a +$3.00/hr;
    Sat & Sun 12 a‑8 a +$4.00/hr.
Compensation

Up to $40/hr (based on skills and experience).

What You’ll Do
  • Record and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather additional information as necessary.
  • Evaluate incoming patients and prioritize based on assessment.
  • Partner with the patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication, and nursing care concerns.
  • Provide client education including home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions), and general wellness updates.
  • Assist DVM with patient assessment, treatment, and procedures.
  • Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients.
  • Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation procedures.
  • Perform in‑house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing.
Qualifications
  • State‑registered Veterinary Technician license required.
  • Prior veterinary experience required; previous emergency experience desired.
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
  • Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
