Medical Oncology Licensed Veterinary Technician – First Shift
Med Vet is a fast‑growing Emergency and Specialty provider with practices nationwide. We help our patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations, including chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more. We are looking for:Medical Oncology Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Our Medical Oncology technicians thrive in a fast‑paced environment, can multi‑task, develop excellent venipuncture skills, have high attention to detail, and gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.
What you’ll do:- Assist in chemotherapy protocols
- Perform drug calculations for treatment plans
- Maintain the vertical‑flow hood
- Participate in clinical studies and trials
- Implement extravasation protocols and safety measures
- Administer chemotherapy, requiring excellent venipuncture skills and IV catheter placement
- Coordinate and manage client communication/education via phone and email
- Manage appointments, obtain histories, handle invoicing, patient discharges, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in medical records
- State‑registered Veterinary Technician license required
- Prior veterinary experience required; previous oncology experience desired
- Proficient in pharmacologic calculations (drugs, constant‑rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Efficient in a fast‑paced environment
