Quality Systems Specialist

Base Pay Range

$24.00/hr – $24.00/hr

• Lead and coordinate resolution of deviations, CAPAs, batch record backlogs, and related quality records to ensure timely follow-up.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to propose and implement process improvements that reduce future backlogs and enhance visibility of quality systems.
• Support preparation for internal and external audits, inspections, and maintain 24/7 inspection readiness.
• Coordinate training activities and ensure personnel are trained on SOPs, policies, and quality procedures.
• Develop and maintain training records, job aids, work instructions, flowcharts, and SOPs to support good documentation practice.
• Assist in updating raw material specifications and other controlled documents, including vendor contact and data gathering.
• Promote organization labeling in the warehouse, improve material inventory structure and documentation, and support visibility of material disposition.
• Coordinate and track testing performed by contract laboratories; maintain visibility of raw material and product testing status.
• Develop, maintain, and update trackers, dashboards, and metrics for quality system performance using Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Provide general coordination support to the Quality Team and facilitate cross‑functional communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Quality, Engineering) preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing or consumer health/OTC environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, Training, Documentation, Batch Records).
• Experience supporting raw material specifications, SOP management, and training material development preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  Power BI skill is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and accountability in environments requiring process discipline.
