Technician - Restoration/Construction at FIRST ONSITE, LLC
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICIAN
As a Technician, you provide emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to clients. You are hands-on with water, fire, mold remediation, biohazard, demo, and construction projects, providing the know-how and muscle to not only get things done but done right. You are flexible and assist the team when needed on multiple service lines. You contribute to successful projects in a variety of ways, such as loading or unloading materials/tools, setting up equipment for drying structures, doing vehicle maintenance, cleaning and preparing job sites, tarping roofs, or emergency board-ups.
You maintain all Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols with a safe job site. You don t hesitate to help the team wherever and whenever you re needed as you are willing to travel and are available for emergency/after-hours/weekend calls. While providing a positive experience to clients during their time of need, your hard work provides reassurance that First Onsite is the only restoration partner they ll ever need.

- Assist with loading/unloading materials and tools for restoration and construction projects
- Set up equipment for drying structures and monitor progress
- Perform vehicle maintenance and keep job sites clean and organized
- Tarps roofs and perform emergency board-ups as needed
- Support multiple service lines under supervision and contribute to project success
- Minimum:
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook) and basic ability to operate industry-specific tools and equipment - Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver s license required
Position Requirements
- Ability to work in a busy, service-oriented team under stress to meet deadlines and switch priorities
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and respond 24/7
- Regular, reliable attendance is required
- May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments; travel may be required
