Security & Licensing Requirements: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance, provide a valid passport for site access, and hold a current Journeyman HVAC License (highly preferred).
Responsibilities- Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in data centers operate at peak efficiency, including preventive maintenance, corrective work, and emergency response.
- Serve as a technical resource, reporting to a program manager, and interact with onsite engineering and vendors.
- Maintain data center uptime >99.999%.
- Meet CET1 requirements; OEM training/experience preferred. Strong communication skills required.
- Apply safe work practices, interpret diagrams, blueprints, and operational instructions.
- Use hand tools and test equipment for troubleshooting and repairs, logging activities in CMMS.
- Assist and transfer knowledge to other technicians, and perform daily facility walk-throughs.
- Understand and operate critical systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, fire alarm, etc.), including performing shutdowns and startups.
- Maintain compliance with building codes and regulations, and manage procurement of parts.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, understand heating and refrigeration cycles, and perform load calculations.
- Minimum 6+ years in electrical, mechanical, or fire/life safety equipment, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance and provide a valid passport.
- Journeyman Electrician or HVAC license or equivalent.
