• Greet walk-in customers, respond to telephone calls and inquiries, and sell products/services to meet customer needs.
• Process inter-company parts transfer requests.
• Provide parts to Service Technicians as required.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verify receipting of shipments and assist with placing machine down and stock orders in proper inventory locations.
• Keep work area and assigned warehouse areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in annual physical inventory.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• John Deere parts experience or 3+ years of other parts experience, preferably automotive or comparable equipment.
• Safe forklift operation; must obtain forklift certification.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.

• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Able to move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.

• Hazards from electrical, mechanical, and power equipment.
• Risk of exposure to chemicals such as oils, antifreeze, volatile hydrocarbons, and battery acid.
• Excessive weather conditions.
• Mists, fumes, and non-continuous noises.
• Dust from hose saws.
