Glass Technician Apprentice, Manassas, VA + Silver Springs, MD

Dulles Glass is seeking full-time glass installation apprentices. Apprentices will assist the installation techs with all aspects of installation while learning the craft of glazing and installation. This position is designed specifically with advancement in mind and will present successful candidates with the ability to earn promotions, bonuses and raises based on their own personal growth while on the job. EXTENSIVE TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

You will be training under an experienced lead technician with years of experience. Ideal candidates are individuals seeking to grow with our company and move up the ranks to higher level positions.

Shifts are either 4 days x 10 hours/day or 5 days x 8 hours/ day, with ability to work overtime.

• Authorized to work in the US
• Undergo background check
• A valid driver’s license with a GOOD DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED. Company vehicle provided - All of our associates are always paid for company driving time!
• Ability to carry 50lbs unassisted and up to 150 pounds in a group setting.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Must be worn at all times in designated areas
• Work well in team environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high demand environment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to read a tape measure to a 16th of an inch

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
