The Opportunity:
You will serve as a vital field leader driving the successful execution of premier residential projects. This role allows you to combine your elite carpentry skills with site leadership to deliver beautiful, lasting craftsmanship. You will enjoy independent field authority backed by a supportive team that treats you like family.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on site to deliver high-quality residential builds.
- Interpret architectural and structural plan sets accurately to guide daily field operations.
- Execute precise hands-on carpentry work including framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and trim.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and delegate tasks efficiently to maintain production goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and building standards.
- Communicate proactively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects aligned.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters to uphold the company standard of craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications &
Experience:
- 7+ years of residential construction experience preferred, with strong hands-on carpentry skills and proven ability to lead crews.
- Candidates with 10+ years of custom home or high-performance building experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting full construction plan sets, both architectural and structural.
- Strong understanding of excavation, concrete work, framing, weather resistive barriers, windows, doors, siding, and finish carpentry.
- Ability to simultaneously lead an on-site crew while executing hands-on carpentry work.
