That's the kind of commercial handyman we're looking for.

Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is looking for an experienced commercial handyman with 15 or more years in the trade
. Someone who knows the work, takes pride in doing it right and can handle repairs and improvements without needing someone looking over their shoulder.

We provide the customers, scheduling, company vehicle and support.

You bring your tools and experience. We'll bring the work.

You'll handle a variety of commercial repairs, maintenance and improvements, including:

• Carpentry, trim and general wood repairs
• Drywall repairs, patching and painting
• Doors, locks, hinges and hardware
• Light plumbing and electrical repairs within your qualifications
• Flooring and tile repairs
• Office and retail renovations
• Tenant improvements and interior upgrades
• General building maintenance and repairs

You don't have to know everything.

You need to be able to assess the job, figure out the repair, work through problems and get the job done right.

We're looking for a seasoned tradesperson with 15+ years of hands-on construction, handyman or building repair experience
, including experience with commercial properties.

Someone who:

• Knows the trade and owns their own tools
• Can troubleshoot problems without being told every step
• Takes pride in good workmanship
• Can work independently and manage the job Shows up on time and follows through
• Treats customers and their properties with respect
• Keeps the work area clean and safe
• Communicates professionally with property managers and business owners
• Can work from job notes, scopes of work and customer requests
• Understands that businesses need repairs done right and on schedule
• Can prepare, present and sell their own estimates

We're not looking to teach you the trade. We're looking for someone who already knows how to do the work.

Our customers include property managers, realtors, property owners and businesses that need dependable repair and maintenance work.

You'll work in places like:

• Commercial offices
• Retail stores and restaurants
• Medical facilities
• Property management accounts
• Industrial and commercial properties
• HOAs and other managed properties

Some projects may require occasional overnight, weekend or other irregular hours to work around business operations.
