C/C++ Developer

Location:

Manassas, Virginia (Onsite)
Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense ­­Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.

Role Overview We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer for a role based in Manassas, Virginia. The primary focus of this position is analyzing code dependencies, diagnosing build and runtime issues, and fixing defects within a large C++ codebase. The role also involves engagement with CI/CD pipelines and dependency management to support engineering efforts and shape future software development lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities Analyze code dependencies in a large C++ codebase.

Diagnose and resolve build and runtime issues.

Identify and fix software defects.

Work with CI/CD pipelines and dependency management systems.

Support engineering efforts to improve software development lifecycle processes.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

Professional experience with C/C++.Experience working in Linux environments.

Proven ability to debug complex, non-trivial software issues.

Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.

Technical

Skills:

Solid understanding of C/C++ dependencies, linking, and build behavior.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity working with CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for Git Lab.
