$54.38 - $73.41

Hours per pay period: 0-24

Shift length: 8 Hours

• Ability to communicate effectively with the pertinent personnel to schedule and coordinate simulation and treatment appointments.
• Able to follow directions accurately, both verbally and written.
• Under the general supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist or Director, administers ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Collaborates with nursing, dosimetry, clerical staff and physicians to provide safe and effective care.
• Participates in department quality improvement activities, billing completion, and other projects as directed.

• Desired:
• 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Prior clinical experience with Varian Radiation Therapy equipment and software.
• Prior experience in the treatment of SRS and SBRT.

• Current California State License in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology
• Current CPR Certification
• Registered A.R.R.T Radiation Therapist

• Excellent communication, phone etiquette, accurate documentation and organizational skills are essential to function as a Radiation Therapist.
• Demonstrates technical competence in techniques required for a Radiation Therapist.
• Critical thinking and problem solving are required.
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with other staff members.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
