OverviewMST is an in-home family therapy model for teens facing at-risk behaviors such as substance use, family conflict, or school problems. MST works with the teen’s entire social support system (individual, family, peer, school, community) to improve behaviors and strengthen family relationships.
Responsibilities- Provide assessment and treatment interventions consistent with the program model.
- Conduct clinical and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with individuals to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
- Demonstrate competency in age‑related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural support.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers.
- Provide crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- May provide care in office, home, residential, and/or community-based settings based on program model.
- Maintain client and staff records according to agency policy.
- Provide coverage for team members during periods of absence.
- Participate in weekly supervision, consultations, and meetings.
- Transport clients using agency vehicles and/or personal vehicles based on program model and setting.
- Participate in all required CHR training and obtain and/or maintain certification in an EBP if applicable.
- In residential programs, prioritize safety and physical presence, participating as full members of the milieu.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
- Master’s Degree or higher in related field.
- Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders and/or substance use disorders preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: LMSW, LPC‑A, LMFT‑A required. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist preferred. LADC may be substituted for LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist in some programs. Valid Driver’s License required where transportation is required.

Starting at $60,496/yr minimum, commensurate with experience. Sign‑on incentives and program/location differentials may apply.
