Provide basic clinical and clerical support within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The candidate will receive ongoing training across all aspects of the role.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relevant experience
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire or transfer
• Maintain all required credentials throughout employment

• At least one year of direct patient care experience (acute or ambulatory) may satisfy the education requirement
• Preferred:
  Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
