At Neon Aero, we’re scaling advanced aerospace manufacturing—fast. As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll lead a production team on the shop floor to deliver safely, on time, and to spec. You’ll be the connective tissue between Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain—driving daily execution while continuously improving how we work.

• Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations for your area, ensuring we hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Assign work, set clear expectations, and coach a high‑performing team; monitor output and remove roadblocks in real time.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards (FAA, AS9100, customer requirements).
• Track and report production output, labor utilization, and KPIs; use data to prioritize actions and communicate status.
• Partner with Quality & Engineering to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain product conformance.
• Support workforce planning: scheduling, overtime management, and staffing aligned to demand.
• Champion continuous improvement (Lean) and engage your team in problem‑solving and waste reduction.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance input for production team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; lead EHS initiatives and safety rituals.
• Contribute to projects that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and elevate overall operational performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, including 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role (aerospace/aviation strongly preferred).
• Shop‑floor control & production planning; fluent with ERP/MRP (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with AS9100, FAA, ITAR; strong EHS mindset and right‑first‑time quality.
• Proven people leader: coach, mentor, set clear expectations, and lift team performance.
• Lean working knowledge (Lean Six Sigma preferred); drives CI and root‑cause problem solving.
• Clear communicator and collaborator across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain; balances changing priorities with calm, customer‑focused judgment.
• Data‑driven: track KPIs, interpret trends, prioritize actions; strong organization, conflict resolution, and time management.

• Environment:
  Clean aerospace & defense manufacturing; frequent interaction with Mechanical, Systems, Test, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Schedule:
  
  Mon–Fri, standard business hours 8:00 AM –5:00 PM; occasional weekends for critical builds or tests.
