Machine Operator - Night Shift

Night Shift - 3:30pm to 1:30am, 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of fabrication machines (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines. Fabricators must have the ability to understand blueprints to fabricate parts to blueprint specifications using the appropriate machine and process. Performs designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality, participates in training, performs daily 5S activities, works as a team, and maintains all safety standards.

• Knowledge of basic shop math, ability to read a tap measure and utilize a protractor
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Calculate tonnage for punching and sheering
• Ability to identify various types and gauges of steel
• Ability to operate overhead hoist

• 1,000 hours of trade school
• Fabrication experience

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
