Accounts Payable

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in Manchester, NH and is looking to hire an Accounting Specialist
. The Accounting Specialist will work closely with the accounting team and assist with both accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Support day‑to‑day accounting functions across accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Record and reconcile cash activity, including incoming and outgoing payments
• Review and balance sub‑ledger activity against general ledger records
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity and ensure supporting documentation is properly maintained
• Prepare journal entries related to routine accounting transactions
• Assist with month‑end close activities and internal review processes
• Provide audit support and respond to documentation requests as needed
• Partner with senior accounting leadership on ad‑hoc projects and analysis

• Associate’s degree or comparable hands‑on accounting experience
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong Excel skills within the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting systems preferred
