• Teach 4 Upper School Level English courses.
• Advise 6-8 students.
• Coach 2 seasons or the equivalent.
• Assist students daily with study skills.
• Inspire meaningful exploration of literature and writing.

• Bachelor’s Degree, (preference for a master’s degree in subject matter).
• Energetic, patient and inspiring teacher and leader.
• Successful classroom teaching experience and experience with implementing technology and multimedia in the classroom.
• Demonstrable computer literacy skills.
• Knowledge of and/or experience in independent schools.
• Clear alignment with institutional objectives, strategies and goals.
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented style.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines (e.g. student comments, grades).
• A proven commitment to the development of young people as individual learners.
• A commitment to developing in students character, global citizenship and an appreciation of people from diverse backgrounds.
• Interest in curriculum development within and across disciplines.
