Job Title: Mechanical Drafter – Contract-to-Perm
Location: Manchester, NH
Shift: Standard Business Hours (Onsite)
Pay: Open — $ Based on Experience & Availability
We’re seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support engineering and documentation teams. This role starts as contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs. You’ll be a key part of preparing, updating, and releasing engineering drawings within ECO workflow.
How You Will Make an Impact- Prepare engineering drawings for release into the ECO system
- Create detailed, durable component drawings (mix of off-the-shelf & custom designs)
- Apply standard notes and formatting to drawings
- Work closely with engineering team members to manage drawing pre-approvals
- Collaborate with Document Control to pull ECO numbers, enter parts into the ECO tool, and guide drawings through approval
- Prioritize high-value parts and organize documentation efficiently
- Minimum 2 years of Solid Works experience
- Background in a medical device or documentation-intensive environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Receptive to feedback and able to revise work accordingly
- Effective written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams
