Responsibilities
Job Description :
- Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
- Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
- Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
- Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
- Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
- Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
- Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution focusing on Geotechnical coursework.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- CAD experience is a plus
- Strong calculation skills are preferred
- The ability to interpret work plans
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
The compensation range starts at $65, 000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensures.
