** The Opportunity
** Allegro is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Engineering (QE) team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our product quality by meticulously monitoring internal actions, supporting audit processes, and contributing to cost reduction initiatives. You will be instrumental in ensuring accountability and smooth operations within the QE section, directly impacting our commitment to excellence.
** What You Will Do**
* ** Drive Action Item Completion:
** Support the monitoring and ensure the completion of all open actions committed in internal 8D reports. Provide weekly and monthly follow-ups to all concerned groups regarding these committed actions.
* ** Support Audit & Issue Resolution:
** Assist QE Engineers in monitoring and tracking audit action items. Provide and gather necessary documents and/or data to support customer queries and requests. Assist in monitoring internal issues containment actions.
* ** Manage Resources & Costs:
** Monitor office supplies usage/inventory and manage assets accountability for the Quality Engineering Section. Support the Cost Reduction Program by planning and monitoring actual QE section expenses.
* ** Facilitate Communication:
** Coordinate and communicate internal issues and clarify aspects related to Quality, Manufacturability, and Reliability through internal channels (Engineers, Technicians, Production Supervisors, and Operators).
* ** Contribute to Departmental Goals:
** Attend to other assigned QE tasks as required by superiors to ensure the smooth operation of the section. Gather and provide documents and/or data as requested by QME and internal customers.
* ** Enhance Documentation & Reporting:
** Generate or update Department Manuals and documents via Process Change Request (PCR) in ETQ for needed changes or improvements. Prepare data for weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports or Dashboard meetings.
* ** Support Quality Initiatives:
** Support other group Quality Activities, such as 5S.
* ** Lead Special Projects:
** Accomplish designated projects to support Productivity, Efficiency, or Delivery/Cycle Time improvements.
* ** Achieve KPIs:
** Contribute to attaining the Quality Engineering (QE) section's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals, and objectives.
* ** Perform Ad Hoc Duties:
** Execute other duties as assigned by the QE Section Head or Managers from time to time.
* A graduate of any four-year course or a Technical Engineering course.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and other computer applications.
* Knowledge of Product & Process.
