Duration: 6-month Temporary to Permanent
Position SummaryThe Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Technician supports the execution of testing activities for FDA-regulated medical devices. This role works closely with engineers and test leadership to ensure products meet regulatory, quality, and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to grow within a regulated engineering environment. This position is well-suited for recent Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering graduates looking to gain real-world experience and develop into an engineering role over time.
Key Responsibilities- Execute detailed test procedures according to written protocols and instructions
- Work as part of a cross-functional testing team including Test Managers, Shift Leads, Engineers, and Technicians
- Accurately document and report test results for regulatory and manufacturing validation
- Identify, troubleshoot, and elevate test anomalies or failures
- Support engineering teams by providing feedback to improve test methods and procedures
- Ensure all test documentation complies with FDA and medical device quality standards
- Education or formal training in a technical field (Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Vocational Education)
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering graduates strongly encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Design QA or Manufacturing QA testing
- Medical device experience preferred but not required
- Hands‑on experience with test equipment such as data loggers, scales, pressure gauges
- Ability to execute test procedures developed by others with precision and consistency
- Strong computer skills, including: spreadsheet usage, running custom software tools, executing basic command‑line instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
