About the Job:Evaluates, assesses, and plans clinical nutrition care specific to adult outpatients with cancer. Provides nutritional information to staff, physicians, students, and the community individually and through group programs.
What You’ll Do:- Completes comprehensive nutrition assessments in accordance with licensure, scope of training and specialty and organizational standards
- Clearly communicates recommendations to the patient and clinical team through medical record documentation and other communication mechanisms
- Conducts patient and community education programs and support group presentations related to nutrition and cancer
- Researches and maintains knowledge base for latest developments in nutrition for oncology patients and for cancer prevention
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, Required
- Major course of study in human nutrition, nutrition education, food and nutrition, dietetics, public health nutrition, or food systems management
- Previous experience in a clinical setting with some cancer patients, Required
- Registration with the American Dietetic Association, and RD registration with the State of New Hampshire, Required
- Excellent clinical documentation, and successful usage of EMR systems, Preferred
