Medical Billing Specialist needed for full-time contract position with potential for direct-hire. Direct-hire roles come with 90% paid employer health insurance, 4+wks PTO, paid holidays, full tuition reimbursement and more! This is a great opportunity for those with 1+yr of Medicaid Billing and Claims experience and strong customer service skills looking for a foot in the door with a premier employer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Posting Medicaid remittances including working denials

Working Medicaid Aged Receivables

Processing Spenddown Invoices daily

Follow up on invoices to verify clients have been opened

Review and adjustment of client accounts to ensure proper billing

Set up and maintenance of Spenddown Information, Eligibility and other Spenddown related fields

Providing excellent customer service to patients or staff with billing related questions

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

:

Strong organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic fundamental computer experience to process email and access client/claims information within an EHR and web based insurance portals

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
