This team works very well together and communicates effectively throughout the day to ensure successful completion of cases. We are a Trauma Hospital, so we do many Orthopedic cases and spine cases! We are looking for another motivated, hardworking, fun technologist to join our OR team!

** About the Job:
** The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) “Radiography Practice Standards” and the ASRT “Code of Ethics”
* Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
* Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the “APIE” model.
* Performs venipuncture
* Prepares, administers, and documents activities related to contrast
** Who You Are:
*** Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA approved school  + Twenty-four month clinical internship required
* Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, Required
* ARRT certification, Required  + ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire
* Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
* Experience with Epic, Preferred
