St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our mission-driven team. This position is one day per week with a two-week rotating schedule.

• Week 1: Saturday
• Week 2: One weekday of the employee’s choice (
  Tuesday–Friday
  )

St. Joseph Residence is a 22-bed long-term care community serving the Presentation of Mary Sisters and is proudly part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire.

This role is ideal for someone looking to stay connected to meaningful work without a full-time commitment, retirees, students, or anyone who simply loves working with seniors.

The Activity Aide supports our Life Enrichment program by assisting with engaging, meaningful activities that promote the social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well‑being of our residents. You’ll help create moments of joy, connection, and purpose in a small, peaceful long-term care setting.

• Assist with and lead group and individual activities
• Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships
• Provide one‑on‑one engagement for residents who benefit from extra support
• Help set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies
• Support programs aligned with residents’ care plans
• Document resident participation as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with seniors preferred (but not required)
• Compassionate, patient, and engaging personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including Saturdays
