Broadcast IT Manager

KHBS 40/29, the ABC affiliate in Rogers, AR, is looking for an IT Manager to join our station. You will help oversee the IT operations at our station and work with a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment. The IT Manager reports to the Director of Engineering and performs daily maintenance on computers, virtual systems, network infrastructure, printers and provides user support.

• Support user needs across all departments, including News, Creative Services, Sales and Administration
• Maintain imaging machines, updating firmware and managing hardware inventory
• Provide technical guidance to end-users and mobile device support
• Maintain LAN/IT infrastructure, installation and support of network hardware and software
• Occasional travel to news bureau, transmitter and translator locations
• Analyze and implement corporate data back‑up, disaster recovery and security procedure

• Working knowledge of managed network switches and architecture concepts
• VMWare, Cisco or Microsoft certifications preferred
• Prior experience with a large user base
• Experience in the television broadcast setting preferred
• Experience with networked, stand‑alone printers and digital copiers
• Enterprise and web‑based applications
• VPN, Cisco equipment, TCP/IP and subnets, NAS, LAN Management
• Communications skills and customer‑service attitude
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
• Higher education in technology, SBE certification or related military experience will be considered
• In‑person attendance is required
