Land Use Attorney — Hinckley Allen
Hinckley Allen is seeking a land use attorney to join a dynamic and sophisticated practice in Manchester, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience with land use and development, zoning, permitting and public approval processes in New Hampshire and neighboring states. Admission to New Hampshire bar is required.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on land use and zoning issues, ensuring compliance with New Hampshire state and local regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including zoning applications, development agreements, and land use permits in accordance with New Hampshire law.
- Represent clients in hearings and proceedings before zoning boards, planning commissions, and other governmental agencies within New Hampshire.
- Conduct research on land use laws, zoning regulations, and case law pertinent to New Hampshire to provide informed legal opinions.
- Collaborate with clients, urban planners, and other stakeholders to facilitate development projects and resolve zoning disputes.
- Negotiate terms of land use agreements and easements with opposing parties.
- Stay updated on changes in New Hampshire land use and zoning laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present legal arguments and strategies in administrative and court proceedings.
- Assist in community outreach and public meetings related to land use projects.
- At least five (5) years of experience with land use and development, zoning, permitting and public approval processes in New Hampshire and neighboring states.
- Admission to New Hampshire bar is required.
