NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated Machine Operator to join their team on night shift or day shift in Manchester, NH
. As a Machine Operator, you will run machinery while constantly monitoring the visual quality of the product. Troubleshooting and problem solving will be crucial.
Segregate/rework nonconforming products using acquired knowledge & experience, as well as input from QC and Supervision as needed.
Record all required related data accurately and on a timely basis.
Execute written instructions/procedures, from logbooks, manufacturing orders, etc. including product changeovers, operation of all machinery & equipment as well as priorities and scheduling information.
Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
Technical school and/or prior work experience in manufacturing or directly related field strongly preferred.
Basic math and computer skills.
Able to lift 55 pounds, stand for long periods of time, able to climb stairs, withstand repetitive movement and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to operate a motorized forklift and hand lift.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
SCHEDULEJob Type: Full-time, Day or Night Shift. These positions are on 2-week rotations.
Operators have 5 days off every other week.
Day ScheduleWeek 1:
Wed. Thurs, 7 AM to 7 PM (24 hours regular pay)
Week 2: M, T, F, S Sun 7 AM to 7 PM (40 hours regular pay and 20 OT pay)
Week 1:
Wed. Thurs, 7 PM to 7 AM (24 hours regular pay)
Week 2: M, T, F, S Sun 7 PM to 7 AM (40 hours regular pay and 20 OT pay)
The starting wage is $22.52 per hour
. Once fully trained, the wage increases to $26.34 per hour
. Night shift has a $1.50 shift differential.
